Why Play Soccer?

FWSA provides women with a league to play soccer, socialize, escape from stress, get some exercise, and make friends and memories.  Explore the pages above to see what teams have openings, contact us to help you find a spot, or join in one of our free clinics.
 


Learn More About the League

You’ll find women who have never played before to women who have played most of their lives and in between. Over 800 women participate. We group players by age, although players can always play in younger divisions.  Players can also choose the competitiveness level.  Blue divisions are the most competitive and white divisions are more recreational.

The Age Brackets

Open--women 18 years or older, any age can play here
Masters--over 30
Grandmasters--over 40
GGM--over 50

The Division Groupings

Blue--upper division, the most competitive.
Red--middle division, moderately competitive.
White--lower division, for those new/newer to the game, more recreational.
