We use Google Groups to manage sub team lists. Each age group has their own Google Group. Groups are by invitation only. (See Google Help for help with Google Group features.)

Join a Sub Team

If you don't already have a Google Groups account, you'll need to create one.

  • Subs and Team Reps must have a Google Group account
  • You can use any email address (specify which one in your profile)
  • You may choose more than one Group (Open, Masters, GM or GGM)

Players complete and return the sub form

Team Reps email the Sub Team Commissioner for an invitation to join. Include your division and team name.

Once we have your information, we'll send you an invitation for membership in the group(s) you requested.

Sending and Responding to Requests

Team Reps will send a request from the Google Groups website. If you are a member of that group, you'll receive an email in your specified account. Subs, please respond using the website (not your email's "reply" function). It keeps things tidy. Also note players may only sub for one game per day.

At the game

  • Provide a jersey for each sub.
  • During the coin toss, team reps give the opposing team the yellow card.
  • You must play those subs.
  • When using subs, you may have a maximum of 13 players (including subs) during the game.
  • Players in excess of the 13 can not play, even if you need to bench your own players.
  • Teams will need to know which of their own players have committed to playing in a game before the start of the game.
  • Include the names of subs used in your game reports to your division commissioners.
