Female Assistant Coach needed for Varsity Girls Soccer Team in McLean, VA. This is a paid part-time afternoon position. The high school season begins in mid-August and runs through the end of October. Practices are held daily M-F 3:15- 5:00 and starting in September there are 2 games a week. This is a competitive team in the PVAC (Potomac Valley Athletic Conference) under the leadership of Riki-Ann Serrins. Playing experience is preferred, but coaching experience is not necessary...just enthusiasm for soccer and working with teenage girls! If interested please contact Caroline Heeter, Athletic Director of Oakcrest School, at cheeter@oakcrest.org.

Soccer Training with Ball Pitching Machine

I am a USSF C licensed coach in Fairfax who owns a soccer ball pitching machine (similar to a baseball pitching machine). It can shoot a soccer ball up to 80 mph with adjustable speed and spin. It is great for training players to receive air balls, or in any part of training (like corner kicks) where a flighted ball is needed. Goalkeepers love it too. Sessions can be designed for single players, small groups or teams. It's a fun and efficient way to train, something fun and different for practice.

If interested, please send an email to: mclaughlinresearch@verizon.net and we can discuss your needs.
